Description

An accessible boardwalk starting from the Connecticut Department of Energy and Environmental Protection (CT DEEP) Marine Fisheries Headquarters and Boating Division office provides an opportunity to visit the Connecticut River and fringing salt marshes.

At the end of the boardwalk there is a raised viewing platform where visitors can observe nesting osprey in the marshes and boats on Long Island Sound. This is a great spot for marine fishing or crabbing.
