Mansfield Hollow State Park offers activities that range from picnicking, fishing and ice fishing, boating, hiking, and cross-country skiing. It is also a good place to explore local geological interpretation.
The damming of the Natchaug River by the Army Corps of Engineers has created a 500-acre lake for boating and fishing. No swimming is allowed since part of the lake is used for public water supply. Mansfield Hollow was established as a park in 1952.
This park is managed by the following CT DEEP Park Headquarters:
151 Bassetts Bridge Road, Mansfield, CT 06250
