The trail follows along the river's edge allowing users to enjoy views of the coastal flora and fauna. There are benches along the walkway to sit and enjoy the views. The trail is approximately 0.6 miles long and is a combination of a paved path and wooden walkway.
Parking on the north end is available off Fort Hill Road, just east of the river. ADA accessible parking for the south end is at 65 Depot Road.
