Description

Currently extending 1.1-miles from the Pulaski Footbridge at 199 River Street to a pocket park on Maple Street, the Naugatuck section of the greenway follows the river through Linden Park, which offers recreational opportunities.

There are numerous places for river fishing along the trail, and Linden Park offers a car-top boat launch for paddlers.

This trail section is part of the larger Naugatuck River Greenway Trail that will one day connect eleven communities from Torrington to Derby.

Other Information

Rules:

All parks close at dusk (except Linden Park, Hop Brook field, and Rotary Field)
Dogs are permitted at Baummer's Pond, Andrew Mountain Park, Gunntown Passive Park, and Nature Preserve, and Linden Park walking areas.
Dogs must be on leash unless they are inside the Naugatuck Dog Park. Owners MUST clean up after their pets.
No dogs are permitted on any Borough playing field unless they are service dogs.
