The Mianus River Park and State Park is an urban park containing over 12 miles of trails. The park includes a variety of paths and is well known for its flora and fauna. The Nature Trail (green) is 2.6 miles long with 13 points of interest marked with green letters. The Nature Trail offers a description of each point. The Yellow Trail is a 4.5 mile loop covering most of the park. Many smaller trails intersect and connect.
Mianus River Park spans two municipalities and consists of three contiguous properties: Mianus River and Natural Park, 110 acres, owned by the Town of Greenwich, Mianus River Park, 187 acres, owned by the City of Stamford, Mianus River State Park, also known as Treetops, 94 acres, owned by the State of Connecticut.
The Friends of Mianus River Park is a volunteer organization whose goal is to sustain and protect the Mianus River Park.

This park is managed by the following CT DEEP Park Headquarters:
From Route 15 (Merritt Parkway), take Exit 33. Head noth on to Den Road for 0.2 miles. Turn left onto Bengall Road and after 0.3 miles turn right onto Riverbank Road. Turn left onto June Road and then left onto Guinea Road for 1.1 miles. Turn left onto Stanwich Road. After 0.5 miles, the parking area is on the left.
Take exit 31 off Route 15 (Merritt Parkway). Turn left onto North Street. After 1.4 miles, turn left onto Dingletown Road. After 1.3 miles, turn left onto Stanwich Road. After 0.8 miles the parking lot will be on the left.
The Stamford parking area is at 71 Merriebrook Lane. From the junction of Route 15 (Merritt Parkway, Exit 33), proceed to Westover Road. After approximately 2 miles, turn right onto Merribrook Lane. After approximately 0.2 miles, find small parking areas on either side of the road.
The Greenwich parking area is at 450 Cognewaugh Road, Greenwich.
Parking is very limited. Park only in marked spaces as police will ticket and tow illegally parked vehicles in the park and on nearby streets.
