The yellow-blazed trail runs past Chapin Brook, turns uphill, and joins up with the Bird Loop Trail on Mansfield’s Schoolhouse Brook Park. The Bird Loop Trail can be followed until you reach another Joshua’s Trust preserve, the Holt-Kinney Woods.

The preserve is located in Mansfield Center on Browns Road, 0.6 miles west of Route 195, approximately 800 feet before the intersection of Crane Hill Road and Browns Road.
