The Bolton Land Trust's Blackledge Marsh Preserve and Freddo Family Preserve form the headwaters of the Blackledge River and is home to a wide variety of wildlife, birds, wildflowers, and other native plants. Old stone walls, former pastures, and fields reclaimed by nature, and relics of past excavation speak to centuries of history.
The Freddo Family Preserve was a gift commemorating generations of the Freddo Family who worked the land and built memories there.
