Purchased by the Town of Bolton in 2000, the Rose Trail at Bolton Heritage Farm has been in agricultural use since the 1700's and it remains a working farm today. In addition, this trail offers many types of public recreational opportunities including cross country races, kite flying, yoga, bird watching and hiking.
The trail encircles the agricultural fields with a beautiful eastward view. A portion of the upper trail follows the former cow path lined with old stone walls. It continues through woodlands and links with the Hop River State Park Linear Trail.
Heritage Farm is located to the north of Bolton Center Road, between the intersections of Meadow Road and Bayberry Lane. Parking on premises. The Rose Trail begins behind the barn.
The Rose Trail at Bolton Heritage Farm trail also connects to the Hop River State Linear Trail, accessible from the parking area on Steeles Crossing Road, between Bolton Center and Route 6.
